Artist Statement / Accumulation
Accumulation is a body of work that I created in parallel with the Artificial Geography series. Basically, at the end of each workday, I was accumulating the left over oil paint on small format canvases. The result is a fresh and spontaneous abstract painting series, based on layers of paint and splashes of color to add dynamism to the composition. |
